This fascinating tour winds its way through the largest Archaeological Park in Northern Italy. It includes the oldest buildings from the Roman period, starting with the extraordinary frescoes in the western cell of the Republican Sanctuary and continuing with the archaeological remains of the Imperial Forum of Brixia: the remains of the paving of the ancient decumanus maximus, the monumental Capitoline Temple, inside which, among polychrome marble floors, sculptures and furnishings, it is possible to admire the wonderful statue of the Winged Victory, and finally the imposing cavea of the Roman theatre which once housed up to 15,000 spectators.
