Kind visitors are informed that, from 21 November to 3 December, the opening hours of Brixia roman archaeological area will undergo changes to allow for the installation of the great Victoria Mater. L’idolo e l’icona (Victoria Mater. The idol and the icon) in the Winged Victory Hall, which will be closed to the public. During certain time slots, it will still be possible to visit the Republican Sanctuary, as well as the western and central halls of the Capitolium, with the purchase of the Single Ticket Brescia City Museums.

Specifically, the Archaeological area will be completely closed to the public on the following days:

  • Monday 24 November
  • Tuesday 25 November
  • Wednesday 26 November
  • Thursday 27 November

It will be possible to visit the only republican sanctuary on the following days:

  • Friday 21 November open from 12:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. (last admission at 17:10)
  • Saturday 22 November open from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. (last admission at 17:10)
  • Sunday 23 November open from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. (last admission at 17:10)

During the following times, although the Winged Victory Hall will remain closed to the public, it will still be possible to access the Archaeological area to visit the Republican sanctuary, the western hall and the central hall of the Capitolium by purchasing the Single Ticket Brescia City Museums:

  • Friday 28 November open from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. (last admission at 17:10)
  • Saturday, 29 November, open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last admission at 5:10 p.m.)
  • Sunday, 30 November, open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last admission at 5:10 p.m.)
  • Tuesday 2 December open from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last admission at 5.10pm)
  • Wednesday 3 December open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last admission at 5.10pm)

The Museum Ticket allows visitors to visit the four museums in the Brescia civic system: Santa Giulia Museum, Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo, Museum of the Risorgimento lioness of Italy and Luigi Marzoli Arms and Armour Museum. Exceptionally, from 21 November to 3 December, it will also allow visitors to visit the Republican sanctuary and the western and central halls of the Capitolium. Please note that admission is limited to groups of up to 25 people every 20 minutes for conservation purposes.
