Perched at the top of the Cidneo Hill, the Castle is one of the most fascinating fortified complexes in Italy and the second largest in Europe.
Inside the fourteenth-century Mastio Visconteo, the “Luigi Marzoli” Arms and Armor Museum houses one of Europe’s finest collections of antique armour and weapons, displaying Brescia’s time-honoured weaponry tradition, documenting its technological and artistic evolution between the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries.
