Accessibility
Fondazione Brescia Musei commits to the creation of a fully accessible museum space. It promotes the removal of physical, cultural, and social barriers in order to fulfil its mission to increase knowledge about its cultural heritage.
To this end it collaborates with individuals, institutions, and associations specialising in assuring the highest levels of accessibility to cultural heritage, provides all the information for facilitated access to the museum spaces, and offers edutainment activities meeting the needs of different audiences.
Fondazione Brescia Musei for everybody
Most of our museum venues are accessible to visitors with mobility impairment. In some historic buildings that are listed and protected to ensure their monumental preservation, specific areas are not accessible to visitors with mobility disabilities. However, especially in the least accessible areas, there are digital and experiential devices allowing all visitors to experience and discover the treasures of our museum exhibits.

In keeping with European regulations, admission to our museums and temporary exhibitions is completely free of charge for visitors with over 67% disability, for European Disability Card holders, and their accompanying persons.
