At the Museo di Santa Giulia, from 13 September 2024 to 12 January 2025, as part of Testimoni, the 7th edition of the Brescia Photo Festival, Massimo Sestini’s exhibition tells the story of the transformation of our country through some thirty large images.
The extraordinary aerial images that have made the photographer recognisable throughout the world represent a site-specific installation displayed as a flag on the chains of the arches of the lower and upper loggias of the Museo di Santa Giulia, reminding us of the identity value of Lombard culture, the first great true unifier of Italy after the fall of the Roman Empire.
A historical journey through forty years of the artist’s work.
