From 18 May to 21 July, as part of Testimoni, 7th edition of the Brescia Photo Festival, Mo.Ca. – Centro per le Nuove Culture welcomes the exhibition PercORSI. The forms of the portrait in the photographs of Carlo Orsi, paying homage to a great master of Italian photography: Carlo Orsi (1941-2021).
An author capable of ranging from fashion to reportage, from portraits to research and from glamour to experimentation, keeping his style iconic and immediately recognisable. The exhibition, curated by Margherita Magnino and Silvana Beretta, focuses on the portraits the artist took in the worlds of art, cinema, sport, music, fashion and culture, through 80 images capable of recounting the evolution of a society through the looks and poses of its interpreters.
