At the Santa Giulia Museum, as part of Testimoni, 7th edition of the Brescia Photo Festival, from 23 April 2024 to 6 January 2025 it will be possible to visit the exhibition Gabriele Micalizzi. Legacy, dedicated to a photographer who has combined war reportage with various humanitarian, social and artistic photographic projects.
In his art, Gabriele Micalizzi brings out the material aspect of photography and the concreteness of the image as created through light.
The photographer, starting from his work as a reporter and from a specific editorial use, exhibits a selection of images taken during events
and contemporary events, analysing the evolution of the medium and language.
